Technology Autobiography

Listen to me Speak

My first encounter with technology in the classroom was at a rural school in Western Massachusetts. As a teacher of students with intensive special needs, I had the opportunity to work at a school where each student had access to a computer. In the early 1990’s use of technology in the classroom was just becoming common place. It was especially true for those of us in special education. Assisitive technology provides students with special needs the means to express themselves, and a path way to independence. I learned how to use diffrent soft ware to teach students to express themselves as well as communicate with their teachers and peers with dignity. Assistive technology was changing rapidly through the 1990’s, and soon I had to learn more about how to use technology in the classroom.

    Hi
I think I discovered something strange with the audio player — there is some glitch with the MP3 player and how it records, and then is coded. Not sure why that is happening and I am trying to find the answer. However, until then, you can still LISTEN to your audio as linked to your blog by clicking on the keywords, just no the flash player (that little icon with the plus sign).
If I can figure out the answer here, I will let you know.
Meanwhile, I hope you keep blogging and experimenting!
    Take care,
    Kevin

    Oh
One more thing, Mo, you want to go into your Site Admin (dashboard) and under OPTIONS, click DISCUSSION, and then make sure that all of the options are clicked.
It doesn’t seem as if you are holding comments for moderation and you definitely want to do that with your blog.
